Friends of Zion
The Friends of Zion believes in our Mission and wants to see it achieved. They are our support team for Financial Gifts, Volunteer Help, Programming Ideas and most importantly our Prayer Partners.
The Zion Foundation has done everything possible to see this little piece of heaven remain in its natural and farming state for all generations to come. An Advisory Committee formed of local pastors, community leaders and laity will work with the Board of Trustees as a sounding board for ideas and suggestions on the programming and use of Zion. Here are a few areas you may want to help. Pray about it.
Donations: are welcome and can be given in Memory or Honor of a love one, someone special or just to the glory of God. All donations are tax deductible.
Volunteer Help: If you have a few hours or a few days we can use your help. We have all kinds of great tasks in the outdoors for you to help with.
Prayer Partners: The most important facet of our entire project is prayer. You can help by praying for the building of this endeavor for God. Early each morning is a great time, as we are starting each new day. We will have an active prayer list. You can sign up to be a Prayer Partner or even a prayer leader.
Program Ideas: If you have ideas and suggestions for programming, or you would be willing to lead a program, let us know.
The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful piece of his creation, and the vision for a Christian Retreat and Nature Center. Zion wants to encourage oneness with God through praise, prayer and meditation.
Beautiful nature trails, magnificent wildlife, quiet ponds and a great lake are a wonderful backdrop for study, discussion and sharing of knowledge and Praise of the Almighty.
